Welcome to Inspero’s Food Bank, Community Shop & Fridge.
Providing essential support to vulnerable individuals and families in need in the Basingstoke community.
HOW IT WORKS
Inspero operates a weekly Food Bank, Community Shop, and Fridge every Tuesday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at Kempshott Village Hall, Basingstoke. Our shop offers a range of fresh produce, frozen and ambient foods, along with basic hygiene products and pet food.
From May through October, we also provide fresh organic produce from our charity community garden.
For those affected by the cost of living crisis, we offer the opportunity to shop for a small donation, ensuring access to nutritious and wholesome food for their families.

GET SUPPORT
SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY, REDUCING WASTE
Inspero’s Food Bank began on March 21, 2020, in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Below are images showcasing our efforts during this challenging time.
Through our services, we repurpose 2-3 tonnes of surplus and ambient food every week, providing essential support to local families while actively reducing food waste and benefiting the environment.
We are grateful to receive regular donations of supplies from our local Sainsbury’s, Lidl, and Morrisons, which helps us to meet the increasing needs of our community. If you’d like to support Inspero’s Community Shop & Fridge project work we would welcome any food and basic essential donations to our Community Food Hub at Kempshott Village Hall on Tuesday’s, the hub is open 9.30am – 12.30pm.

Please consider donating any of the following items:

“If you weren’t here I would starve, by the time you’ve paid the bills there isn’t much left for food, people like me would be done for.” Roy, Buckskin
“I received a food package for you this afternoon and I wanted to say a big thank you. Means a lot to me as I can’t get to the shops with my children so having others support is a life line at the moment.” Laura, Kempshott
