Inspero promotes healthy eating and living through our fun filled growing and cooking programmes, Love2Grow, Love2Bake and Love2Cook.
We work with all young people, including special needs children, teaching them to have a better understanding about food and have a positive attitude to healthy food choices.
Inspero’s Love2Grow programme is a community growing scheme for young people supported by adult volunteers.
We aim to plant the seeds for a lifetime of positive eating habits by developing fun food programmes for local young people.
Inspero’s Love2Cook programme, presented as Cooking Club, has been created to encourage young people to get to know where food comes from.
It teaches them how to prepare and cook nutritious meals in a fun and friendly learning environment.
WellnessNWellies is a well-being sustainable horticulture project open to everyone that will combine classes in food growing, cooking and nature therapy.
The aim of the project is to enhance people’s well-being and quality of life.
Inspero believes Green Therapy can help people to overcome the stresses of life.
We use gardening, food growing, plants and horticulture to help individuals learn new skills, support development, and promote health and well-being.
Inspero’s Nature2Nurture project provides support to children suffering from mental health issues with severe emotional needs.
This is through forest school and horticultural therapy activities to help build resilience, positivity and increased confidence within children and help them develop good coping strategies for future life.
At Inspero we are passionate about our older generation. We know a lot of older people love their gardens and see them as a place of joy and happiness.
We also realise that for many they are not able to do many of the tasks they used to through illness, disability or old age.
Enhance your community and your employee well being. Come outdoors and help Inspero develop a new area to our award winning Kempshott Community Garden.
Great for company team building and knowing that you are contributing to an organisation that improves the lives of local children.
Inspero are very proud and honoured to announce that the organisation have been awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.
This is the highest award (the MBE for organisations) that can be given to volunteer groups in the UK, which recognises exceptional service in communities.
When healthy eating and gardening charity Inspero decided to jump into action and adapt their services to provide vital support for vulnerable residents at the beginning of the Covid-19 lockdown in March 2020, they had no idea how long the crisis would extend for.
